Operating Information
The Hel military narrow gauge railway operates within the museum of coastal defence just north of the town of Hel. The railway has an operating length of approximately 1km and takes visitors from artillery emplacement B2 (Bruno) to artillery emplacement 3 (Caesar), and also, from May 2013, from artillery emplacement 3 to the ammunition storage magazines. Tickets cost 9zł. There is a small railway museum at the far end of the line.
In 2015, the railway operates on weekends and public holidays in May and June and daily from 15 June to 10 September, during the opening hours of the museum (May 10am - 5pm, June 10am - 6pm, July/August 10am - 7pm, September 10am - 5pm).
