Żnin Narrow Gauge Railway
2014 Timetables
In summer 2014, a daily two train service operated between Żnin and Gąsawa from 1 May to 31 August (except 23-27 and 30 June), and during the Biskupin Archaeological Festival, 13-21 September.
On Saturday 16 August, to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the Żnin narrow gauge railway, visiting LAS steam locomotive Ty3471 (based at Białośliwie) operated four trains from Żnin to Wenecja Muzeum (see photos by Żnińska Kolej Powiatowa and Mikołaj Radzikowski).
Żnin 2014 Timetable

2013 Timetables
In summer 2013, a daily two train service operated between Żnin and Gąsawa from 1 May to 31 August. The trains cross at Wenecja Muzeum, where the station is immediately adjacent to the main 600mm narrow gauge railway museum in Poland. The railway also operates during the Biskupin Archaeological Festival, 14 - 22 September 2013.
On Saturday 30 March 2013 there was a special train on the Żnin narrow gauge railway with a connecting special train and bus from Poznań. The standard gauge special departed Poznań at 09:00 and ran Poznań Główny - Gniezno - Janowiec Wlkp - Damasławek, with a photo stop at Gniezno Winiary. At Damasławek coaches transferred participants to Żnin, where the narrow gauge special train with Lyd2-068 (in blue livery with original engine) ran to Gąsawa and return with photo stops. Return to Poznań was as outward.
On Saturday 18 May 2013, two of the scheduled trains ran using steam locomotive Px38-805 instead of the usual diesel locomotive. Steam departures from Żnin were at 09:00 and 12:05, returning from Gąsawa at 10:30 and 13:45. At 15:20 a steam hauled special train departed Żnin, running to Gąsawa and return with photo stops and including a free visit to the narrow gauge railway museum in Wenecja. This train was raising money towards the restoration to working order of Henschel steam locomotive T2-71, which is on display at the Wenecja narrow gauge museum.

2012 Timetables
In summer 2012, a daily two train service operated between Żnin and Gąsawa from 28 April to 31 August. The trains crossed at Wenecja Muzeum, where the station is immediately adjacent to the main 600mm narrow gauge railway museum in Poland. The railway also operated during the Biskupin Archaeological Festival, 15 - 23 September 2012, and all weekends in September.
On Saturday 1 September 2012 a special train was planned to celebrate the 74th birthday of steam locomotive Px38-805 'Leon'. The train was planned to depart Żnin at 16:00, run to Gąsawa and return to Żnin at around 19:00. In the event, the numbers of passengers wishing to travel meant that two trains were run, but unfortunately they had to be hauled by Lyd2 diesel locomotives after the steam locomotive failed.

The trains crossed at Wenecja Muzeum, where the station is immediately adjacent to the main 600mm narrow gauge railway museum in Poland. The railway also operated during the Biskupin Archaeological Festival, 17 - 25 September 2011.
