Środa Narrow Gauge Railway
In summer 2014, trains ran the full length of the line to Zaniemyśl on 31 May (last day of steam), Saturday 26 July, and every Sunday from 8 June to 31 August. See the timetable below. In addition, short train rides to Kipa, the standard gauge railway bridge 2.5km from Środa Miasto, operated on 1 May, 1 June and 7 September, and in the evening on the regular Sunday operating dates. There is no platform at Kipa so it is not possible to board or alight there.
On Saturday 17 May, two steam-hauled mixed passenger and freight special trains ran from Środa to Zaniemyśl with photo stops. The first train departed Środa Miasto at 08:05 and ran to Zaniemyśl and back with photo stops, returning at 13:05. The second train departed at 15:30 and returned at 19:00.
On Saturday 31 May, on the last day of Px48-1756's boiler certificate, a final special train ran from Środa to Zaniemyśl in the evening, departing Środa at 19:00 and returning there at 23:00. A superb gallery of photos of the final evening train.
Diesel locomotive Lxd2-343 on hire from Gniezno has taken over running all services from 1 June. Photos of Lxd2-343 arriving in Środa.

There is no platform at Kipa so it is not possible to board or alight there.
