Starachowice Narrow Gauge Railway
The Starachowice narrow gauge railway operates as two seperate sections, the northern Iłża section (7km) and
the southern Starachowice section (5km). In 2014, trains ran on both sections on 1 May and every Sunday from
4 May to 5 October. Trains ran additionally on the Iłża section on 3 May. Note that due to rising fuel costs trains may be cancelled unless at least 120zł in ticket revenue is collected.
Over the May Holiday weekend, 3 and 4 May, trains on the northern Iłża section ran to a different timetable than that shown below. On Saturday 3 May, the outward journey was as normal at 14:00, but the return was later at 18:30. On Sunday 4 May, there was an additional morning trip, departing Iłża at 10:00 and returning from Marcule at 12:00. The afternoon journey departed Iłża at 14:00 but returned later from Marcule at 17:30.

In 2013, trains ran every Sunday from 5 May to 29 September on the two separate sections of the railway, the northern Iłża section (7km) and the southern Starachowice section (5km). Iłża trains ran additionally on 1-5 May. Starachowice trains ran additionally on 1 and 2 May.
Free promotional trains ran on 2, 3, 4 and 5 May organised by the Marcule Forest District:
- Thursday 2 May: Departures from Iłża at 11:00 and 15:00; departures from Marcule at 14:30 and 19:00; departure from Starachowice (to Lipie) at 09:00.
- Friday 3 May: Departures from Iłża at 11:00 and 15:30; departures from Marcule at 14:30 and 19:00.
- Saturday 4 May: Departures from Iłża at 10:30 and 13:30; departures from Marcule at 12:30 and 18:00.
- Sunday 5 May: Departures from Iłża at 10:30, 14:00 and 17:00; departures from Marcule at 13:00, 16:00 and 19:00.
An enthusiasts special ran on Saturday 12 October from Starachowice to Lipie using the Lyd1 diesel locomotive and a brake van, plus a draisine beyond on recently-cleared track to km 8 (photos of the track beyond Lipie). Further details; photos of the event.
