Latest News

On Sundays in July and August 2015, the Krośniewice Narrow Gauge Railway Association will be organising hand draisine rides at Ozorków Wąsk station every Sunday between 12:00 and 18:00, as well as a display of the railway's history.

A Railway Film Festival was held from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 May 2013 at Krośniewice (photos). Details of the festival programme are shown below, and also on the Festiwal Filmów Kolejowych w Krośniewicach event page on Facebook. For completeness, the timetable for the cancelled Krośniewice-Krzewie trains can be found here.

Film Festival Programme:

Friday 24 May:
18:00 - Festival opening; overview of the festival programme; screening of railway films; bonfire.
Saturday 25 May:
12:00 - Official opening and welcome; draisine rides; art workshops for children and teenagers; guided tours of the railway workshops.
18:00 - Screening of railway films; bonfire; railway heritage problems in Poland.
Sunday 26 May:
12:00 - Draisine rides; art workshops for children and teenagers; guided tours of the railway workshops.
16:00 - End of the festival.

The Krośniewice narrow gauge railway has a new Facebook page, Krośniewicka Kolej Wąskotorowa, launched on 25 April 2013.

The website of the campaign to save the Kujawy Railways, S.O.S. dla KKW, is no longer online. The campaign still has an active Facebook page.

2008 Timetable

The railway ceased operating on 31 March 2008, when SKPL's operating contract was terminated. Until then regular trains had run north to Wielka Wieś and east to Ostrowy (on the standard gauge Toruń - Kutno line). The 2008 timetables are reproduced below.
