Hajnówka Forestry Railway

Hajnówka is in the north east of Poland, on the edge of Białowieża forest, a large area of ancient forest which straddles the Poland/Belarus border. An extensive system of narrow gauge railways was built to aid timber extraction in the forest. Much of the track remains in place, and a 12km stretch south of Hajnówka has been reopened as a tourist railway.
Gauge: 600mm
Principal Stations: Hajnowka, Topilo, Lipiny.
